About

Aaron T. Moore believes in the adventure of storytelling and the escape that reading and writing offer both author and reader. For him, fiction is not just entertainment—it’s a way to explore pressure, consequence, and the choices people make when the margins disappear.

He grew up in Yankton, South Dakota, and joined the U.S. Marine Corps at eighteen. Over more than two decades, he served in Force Recon, Scout Sniper units, and Special Operations, experiences that forged the hardened realism that defines his fiction. After retiring from the military, Aaron spent five years as a private security contractor in Iraq, operating in some of the world’s most volatile environments.

Now based in Texas and still working in personal protection, Aaron writes the Fractured States series—a high-impact blend of action, grit, and survival rooted in real-world experience. His stories focus on collapse not as spectacle, but as a test of character, leadership, and resolve when systems fail and every decision carries weight.
